Location Information: The David S. Palmer Arena in Danville is an outstanding facility that is designed for wrestling events and provides air-conditioned space for 10 mats. Our overnight campers and staff will stay and eat meals at the Danville Days Inn Hotel located next to the arena.

Team and Group Discounts: We offer significant Team and Group Discounts for as few as 8 wrestlers of all ages from one community. In addition, we have programs that allow coaches and parents to attend camp with their group at no charge. Please email SuperGold@kenchertow.com for more information.

Double Camp Discounts: Many campers attend at two locations. These campers will receive a $100 double camp discount on the 2nd week of camp.

Airport Shuttle: Free, safe airport shuttle from Airport or Bus Station. If you need to be picked up, please e-mail tara@kenchertow.com with your itinerary ASAP.

Ian Assael
As Camp Director, Super Gold Medal Training Camp Program Director and Coach at Ken Chertow’s Home Training Center in State College, PA, Ian works full-time with Coach Chertow planning camps to make sure your camp experience is as beneficial as possible. Ian has been coaching at Gold Medal Camp since 1996, and before joining the Gold Medal Camp Team full-time he was a very successful high school teacher and coach, developing 14 individual high school State Champions and 2 High School All Americans.
