What an incredibly busy time of the year as Coach Chertow and I work hard to make sure your wrestling camp experience is perfect! We look forward to seeing you in a month! I am embarking on my 5th summer as camp administrator for Ken Chertow Wrestling. I sent my son David to Ken’s camp from grades 3-12. He became a 2x State Champion from Nebraska. Ken’s camps are absolutely the best in the country.

For those of you who are returning to summer camp this year, you will know my daughter McKenna as the camp store manager. She is getting married June 29th, just two weeks before summer camp! To say that my life has been crazy busy is an understatement. Please note that I will not be working the week of June 24th, as it is wedding week.  I also ask that you offer grace and understanding in me replying to your messages.

With that being said, it is very important that we wrap up all loose ends as soon as practical, preferably before wedding week (June 24th). Please note these important deadlines:

• June 15th = last day to make roommate requests (Housing is being submitted next week to the hotels)

• June 21st = last day to cancel and receive full camp credit

• July 1st = last day to request an airport shuttle pick-up/drop off

Before I became the full-time camp administrator, I was a Middle & High School Social Studies Teacher, as well as Dean of Students. It is my expectation that parents and wrestlers read over the camp rules and discuss the consequences of poor choices. Parents, please stress to your children that our rules need to be followed and adhered to. The only thing I dislike about my job is having to send home wrestlers who choose to break our rules. You have invested a lot to send your child to Ken’s camp and we want your child to get the most out of camp.
