Our camp is in Altoona, PA at the Blair County Convention Center. Dedicated wrestlers fly from across the nation to attend our camps. Last year, we welcomed 20 wrestlers from 8 foreign countries in addition to the many dozens who flew in from all over the country!!!!
Recommended Airport: We offer airport pick-ups out of two nearby airports; University Park Airport (SCE) and Altoona-Blair County Airport (AOO). SCE is more reliable than AOO. (Flights are often delayed and/or cancelled out of Altoona.)
University Park Airport (SCE) in State College, PA has many flights daily including connections from Chicago O'hare, Philadelphia, Newark New Jersey, and New York LaGuardia. Specifically, United Airlines flies through Chicago and Newark. American Airlines flies through Philadelphia. Approximate travel time to camp: 45 minutes
Altoona-Blair County Airport (AOO) is a small airport with connections from Philadelphia on American Airlines. Approximate travel time to camp: 30 minutes
Arrivals & Departures: We recommend flying into State College airport on Saturday, July 13. Arriving between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. is ideal; however, we realize you may need to arrive later and that is fine. We will accommodate you when you arrive. First session begins at 3 p.m. We recommend departing from State College airport on Sunday, July 28th after 2 p.m. and before 5 p.m. Again, we realize you may need to depart earlier/later and we will accommodate you. Final session ends at 11 a.m.
Fees: There is a $50 charge each way, per person to ride to and from camp out of State College. There is a $30 charge each way, per person to ride to and from camp out of Altoona. Shuttle fees MUST be paid for in full prior to date of pick-up.
Arrangements: We make larger group pick-ups with a professional shuttle van company called Freedom Shuttle. We also involve some of our staff for smaller group pick-ups.
To Book: To reserve your shuttle to/from camp we MUST have your itinerary no later than 2 weeks prior to camp. Itineraries received after July 1, 2024 may result in you having to secure your own transportation to camp.
